02-2-2010 - 37-38 Weeks

My mood while writing this blog: Almost there

Getting excited now. Feeling pretty good. My hips are killing me but not nearly as much as they were with Edwin. Must be because this baby isn't a tank like he was. I had a midwife appointment today and she asked me if I wanted her to do a stretch and sweep next week. I told her don't bother (as they suck) we will wait and see if she comes on her due date and if not then we will start to do stretch and sweeps and things of the like. I had one with Edwin and I was in labour within 48 hours but then again I didn't get it done until my due date. I am just not in a huge hurry to have this baby the way that I was with him. It is so different when you are having your second. I am excited to meet her and have a newborn again but scared and nervous of the lack of sleep, Edwin's feelings and all of the extra work that comes with it.

I finally got the nursery done this week though but lost my camera cable so can't post pics atm. I will search long and hard this weekend as I want to see what people think of my "Bee" theme.

We have this new puppy that I am taking care of until the baby comes. My parents will come and pick her up when they visit. She is driving me insane. I think she is super cute and sweet but she bites EVERYTHING. Edwin included. I think she is teething and I just want to throw a frozen teething ring in her mouth for God's sakes. I can just picture my kids chewing the table legs when they get new teeth. LOL

So I suppose there isn't a lot to report until the day of. We will see what happens and if I don't get on next week I suppose my next blog will be about a new baby! Can't beleieve how fast time has flown. Wish me luck. :)
