17-3-2010 - Prayers for Little Ella

My mood while writing this blog:
Very concerned.

Hi Ladies, I'm putting this out into the universe because we need many prayers for little Ella. My mom's co-worker who is like her right hand (wo)man has a daughter who is having brain surgery on Friday due to a mass on her brain. A few weeks ago she started to loose interest in eating and playing, then a few days ago she stopped walking so her mom took her into the hospital and they found the mass on her brain. Ella has a twin sister who was born perfectly healthy but poor Ella has been battling kidney cancer since she was only 6 months old, and now this. She has been in remission off and on with her cancer, but in the last few weeks she has started to decline and Staci (her mom) thought the cancer might be back. We're not sure at this time what exactly the mass is. Her brain surgery is this Friday and Ella and her twin sister Faith turn 3 years old on Tuesday. ;-( It just breaks my heart. Please include this adorable family in your prayers. Thank you!

I was hesitant to even write it because it's so sad, but like I said, the more positive thoughts going out to this sweet little baby girl the better. And he mom is such a strong woman and such a fighter for the family. The dad is in the military and they have a 1 year old as well, and she works full time because her medical is better than the husbands. Ugh! I just feel for her. She has so much going on!Thanks ladies! xo

I'm so completely sadden and my heart is completely breaking for Ella and her family. I will be praying for them. That is so thoughtful of you to share her story with us and reach out for prayers. I really do believe that there is power in prayer.
