12-7-2008 - Nice vacations

My mood while writing this blog: Ok

We tried to relax as possible during this two weeks of vacations. The main idea was to visit my family, and the to do a few fun things. I think we succeed. First few days we stayed at my sister's house in SJ. We got there on a Wednesday, and pretty much just rest that day and the next. I help her clean the floors and then I was so tired! her house is a lot harder to clean than mine!, lol. Then on Friday we went to an amusement park called " Parque Nacional de Diversiones"; I used to go there went I was a child. It was fun to see my sisters and Hubby getting in all the rides!; as you can imagine I was the one taking pictures, well with my sis's hubby, he is a chicken for the rides, lol. My parents got there a little late with my other sis because of some kind of accident that was on the road on the way there. That day we came back to stay with my parents. After that we stayed most of the time in the house because it was raining a lot, and besides I was tired. Then we found a good day to go to the beach in the Atlantic side of the country, and it was great, at first we didn't have to much sun, but then it got better. Not enough to get a tan though. This beach we went to it's very closed to Panama. So on the way back the police stopped us twice to check for documents, and my sweetie pie didn't have his passport with him, so that almost cause us a little trouble, but then believe us when we told them he was my husband. They were mostly checking for drugs, and guns anyway.
We also went to a river, that it's somehow near to the house, but still we went in a car, and went we got there, I was doubting to get in the water, because it was so cold!!, after a while I gave up and got wet. It was ok after a while because it was a hot day.
My family did a baby shower for us, so we came back with some baby outfits, and some other cute stuff.
On the way back I was sad and I guess for being pregnant I'm also more emotional, so I cried a little bit at the airport. But at least I know I will see my parents when the baby will get here.
We had a lot to deal with on the way back. First we got in the airplane and they made us way there before taking off for about an hour or more; they told us the Miami airport was closed for bad weather conditions. And went we got there, they made us wait for another hour for the delays of the early trouble. And we didn't have lunch, and then it was so late that we didn't have dinner, all the restaurant were closed but one, but they didn't have real food, just snacks, so we had that, and then we finally got home at 3am. The Miami airport was a big mess I almost forgot to mention.They made us walk with our "check bags all over and send us here and there, and we were so tired! ugh!
But we made it home safely at last!
