My mood while writing this blog: weirded out |
okay i understand this blog may be a little 'gross' for some but i really need to ask a question and i was hoping u ladies could help....
well im cd9/10 and im havin the weirdest AF ever, day 1 was SO BAD, i was in so much pain all i could do was lay on the couch in the fetal position and cry, the cramps were that bad, my flow has been medium to heavy which it usually is and i guess i was expecting it to be worse for a 40 day cycle (bleeding wise) pain wise it has been quite the experience, and ive given birth so thats saying alot lol also i had no where near the amount of clotting i should have had going by previous (and shorter) months..... anyways for the past 3/4dys i have been pretty much spotting (didnt need a tampon, only a liner, or pad) until tonight, i had a bit of cramping today then i felt like a gush (the spotting was gone so i wasnt wearing a liner) and it was blood, bright red (wouldnt think i would be having bright red near the end) and it seemed like a lot when i was on the toilet but i put in a tampon for 3 hrs and nothing but a bit of brown....does this sound normal to u??? im starting to think i have something seriously wrong with me, i googled and im getting all kinds of scary stuff, so has this ever happened to anyone?? i am plannin on calling my doc tomorrow but i thought id try here first, i dont think im pregnant or anything but im scared its like something serious and maybe this is why i cant get pregnant?
**also, i think i have a stomache flu bcuz i have been 'sick' for the past day or so, not throwing up but the other bad thing, and sav now has it too, could this be doing somthing?? i wouldnt think since my cycles are usually 6-7 days on a 35ish cycle...
thanks in advance ladies and sorry again for the TMI :/

Wednesday, 30 Dec if it's not normal for you that you should probably call the Dr just to be sure, the stomach flu could have something to do with it too, not sure. i really hope you feel better soon!!! jeff -
Wednesday, 30 Dec didnt you have a + test??? could it be a tubal? B3thy -
Wednesday, 30 Dec If it is not normal for you then I would say calling the doctor cannot hurt. I definitely have cycles where I have clots and cycles where I do not and there is never any rhyme or reason to it. I have also experienced bleeding at the what I thought was the end of my AF only to have the same thing you described happen. it can all be so confusing...ug. keep us posted! shirls -
Wednesday, 30 Dec Two things. 1 - intestinal cramping can cause weird period symptoms, and vice versa. 2. No clots during your period is a GOOD thing. It means your uterine lining was laid down evenly, and is shedding evenly. This is the ideal for your period.I think you should talk to a Dr. about it. It may end up being a stress/hormone/one time only thing. But it's always good to get things checked out. Letting the Doctor know these things, can sometimes help them diagnose you with something they may not have known you had otherwise. Rhondas Third -
Wednesday, 30 Dec I would just make an appointment with your dr and explain all of your concerns along with your concern as to why it's taking you so long to conceive the second time around. Maybe your dr can shed some light on the situation for you. It's always best to be checked out in case there is something wrong. Better to catch whatever it could be early. (Not wanting to scare you!) Or it could be that you are just having a crazy cycle this month. Good Luck to you and keep me posted! mommy-to-Noah-and-Runa -
Wednesday, 30 Dec I don't know what to say. All bets are off with ovarian cysts that I know. During this time have you been seeing the same doctor? It sounds like they are working with you but maybe they are missing something a fresh set of eyes might find. I would consider getting a second opinion (or even third if you are at that point). mfbrown -
Wednesday, 30 Dec I'd check with a doc. I don't think it's necessarily something bad but it doesn't sound normal... especially if its weird for you... that's really all you can go off of. Some people I know get that serious pain and others not so much as a cramp. Sorry I'm not more help! SarahLJ -
Wednesday, 30 Dec I am not sure if thats normal or not hun sorry but before I had Liam my Af was the same way and the cramps too. every month i used to just lay there and cry and nothing relieved them. i didn't see a doctor though because i didn't know any different. i hope everything is ok i'll be thinking about you.
