09-1-2009 - 1st Ultrasound

My mood while writing this blog: Excited and relieved

Wow! I am obviously a first time mom! We just had our first ultrasound done and i could not be any happier with how it went! I am so relieved to know that our baby is doing well in there. I mean it is one thing to see a picture of my baby on a screen....its another to finally realize I have a baby growing inside of me...It sounds even worse when I write it down. I think this is all finally settling in. Our baby's heartbeat was at 177 and they say it is high but is completely normal for the first trimester. We get to go back in 10 weeks for the 2nd Ultrasound and by then we should know the sex of the baby!!! More updates soon!!
