My mood while writing this blog: tired |
You would think since this is my 3rd child I would know how to get a newborn to sleep longer than 1-2 hours at a time-WRONG!! Last night I don't think she even slept an hour before waking up and then staying up! By the time I got her back to sleep and I fell asleep she was up again. I am so looking forward to the time I get to sleep longer than 2 hours at night!! I love my new baby girl, but she is seriously wearing me out. I would love to take a nap during the day-since she is always asleep then, but my 4 yr old won't allow it. For some reason he has not been taking his regular nap since the baby has come home. My liitle ones dad does help watch her through the night a couple of times during the week, but I still feel exhausted every day. I also think my incision around my belly button from my tubal is infected, but just thinking of calling the doctor and having to take both kids with me to get checked is enough to make me scream. I have taken both younger kids with me twice by myself and will not do so again until the newborn is older!! Totaly stressful! Oh well, it can only get better, LOL. Enough whining, my darling daughter is waking up again :)

Tuesday, 7 Apr I can assure you you're not alone feeling a bit or (a lot) stresses and unrested. I'm right there with you and it feels like my 3 year old is even more busy and wanting to play all the time than before the baby was here. Yesterday I fell asleep holding the baby while cartoons were on for the other one. It 's sad, I had used Sponge Bob as a babysitter for the 3 year old. I was desperate for some sleep and couldn't keep my eyes open any longer. It wasn't much of a nap but it was something. We all know these times won't last long but sometimes it's hard to enjoy it when you're running on empty. Hang in there and good luck!
