My mood while writing this blog: Excited but Nervous

When i was pregnant with my son i had three surprise babyshowers and at one i had no clue who the women were!!! Kinda awkward...fortunately my two good girlfriends came to the rescue and offered to take care of everything this time around...they just needed a list of all the people i knew, since they didn't know most of my friends and family...so i'm in on the date and who to invite.

Well my concern is i have a mix of group of people going that i just don't know how the turn about will be...i have my husbands side of the family that doesn't speak absolutely NO ENGLISH!! Then it's the women from my work that don't understand a lick of spanish!!! Then my crazy family, that is always waiting for a fiesta to have a good time (which is fine with me)! Then i have all my girlfriends that are there for support...this isn't the issue at all, since my friends that are hosting the babyshower can speak both english and spanish...the concern is

My mom and stepmom have never been to a function where they are both there (wondering how that's going to go). They don't hate each other mind you, just never actually had to be at a social gathering together. Oh and my gay uncle (dad's brother) and stepmom hate each other!!! He absolutely still loves my mom, and is soooo excited to see her. Wondering if stepmom will feel left out??

Then friend hosting the babyshower and my other girlfriend that i have (which im godmother of her daughter) hate each other!!! Both friends are really close to me, but can't stand one another. Back in high school issues, one married the other's ex boyfriend. DRAMA!!

Then my best friend doesn't get along with the my two friends hosting the babyshower...will deal with it just cause she's my best friend...so grateful that she can be mature about it and just put their issues aside for the day.

And then on hubby's side of the family there are two cousins that can't stand each other...but both decided to go...we'll see how that goes. They've been to family functions before but just don't talk to one another and avoid each other.

So ya, a lot of drama going on...i know i was the one that made the guest list but i made sure everyone knew (the one's that had drama with each other) the other was going. Im glad they all decided to go to for me cause i love them all...but a little nervous on how they will all deal with each other that day...

well the more the merrier and more gifts (hehe) mines on the 2nd and here in fla its so hot (and my mother made it out side) beside it might rain i just hope people come
