13-8-2009 - Babyshower Update

My mood while writing this blog: Happy

I had written a blog about babyshower, and how nervous but excited i was to have all my friends and family at ONE babyshower...So this was the outcome of August 8th, 2009...

Everyone that went got along so well. For it to be the first place that stepmom and mom actually socialized at same event, it went so smooth. They talked and laughed and enjoyed each others company, so grateful that they were able to get along!! One of my friends did not get along with hosts of babyshower...well she ended up coming early to my appartment and dropping my gift off, she had other things to do and couldn't stay for babyshower (which turned out great, cuz i was worried how she and hosts would be in same room together).

My two good friends hosted the babyshower and took care of all the games and decorations and gifts, it was soooo great! I loved every detail they did (they are very creative girls) they made my babyshower so special!!! I'm very lucky to have them as friends!! There was tons of food, and it all tasted so good!!!

I received tons of gifts and so many cute cute clothes...I can't wait till Isabella's out so i can dress her up in all them clothes...she's going to look so adorable!!! She's one lucky baby girl!!!

The BEST thing was after the babyshower...dad, mom, stepmom, sisters and i went back to my place and dad brought all the pics from the past!!! He came in witha big box of baby pics of all of us sisters and family from mom and dad's side. There were pics of dad and mom before we were born!!! It was great, we sat around the table laughing our asses off to all the goofy pics and talking about how much we've changed and grown. Very happy that stepmom was there to share this moment even if she wasn't part of that past, she was a good sport and also had a good time.

All in all, i had a blast and enjoyed every minute of that day...it was nice having all my family and friends around to share it with as well!!! I didn't take any pics with my camera, but my friend did...waiting for her to e-mail me them so i can post...
