27-5-2009 - Heartbeat!!!

My mood while writing this blog: Cautiously excited!

We have a baby with a heartbeat of 146 BPM. I went for my ultrasound appointment this morning and to our shocking surprise there was our baby, with a very fast flickering little heart beat. Baby is measuring right on for dates. We were astounded and could not believe it. I am still spotting pink mucous, and have cramping on and on still for the past five days. We had fully prepared and come to terms that this baby was not going to make it and now we still have a 50/50 chance. I am so worried for my little "ducky" as that is what we call our little one because this is my DD's favorite word! I am waiting for my doc to get the results and call me to see what the next step is and to see what my beta levels are. We are excited but still very terrified that this could end tragically. I pray 'ducky" snuggles safetly inside and the bleeding is hopefully just from my cervix.

If everyone could please say a prayer for Diane -take two who found out that her little "sweat pea" is not in her uterus but in her abdominal cavity. She has been a huge support to all of us throughout all and we need to send prayers and hugs her way! Thanks!
