| 26-7-2009 - An update, haven\'t blogged in a while! | My mood while writing this blog:Great |
Hi everyone! I haven't blogged in so long that I thought I would do an update. Things this past month have been a little hectic. My parents are moving into their new place, so we have slowly been moving them, a day here and there. I think we should be all done by Thursday! Also, I am so ecstatic that I have recieved a new job! I will be a Primary Health Care Nurse! I will no longer have to work nights, shift work, no weekends, and no holidays!!! I can't wait to have every christmas off with my little ones! it is a part time position. Only three days a week, which is great! Especially after i go back to work in a year after baby! I got a $6.00/hour raise and will work 8:30-4:15, instead of twelves like I do now! Soooooo excited! The only downside is that right now I work in my home town and drive 30 seconds to work, and as of September when the new job starts I will be working an hour away :( , but it is all worth the no shift work, and no missing my family gatherings on holidays and weekends!
We also just bought yesterday a new vehicle, Chevrolet Traverse. We had a pontiac G6, but traded it in for this much bigger vehicle! With two carseats in the back we wanted a lot of space in the trunk. This vehicle seats eight, and the last three seats fold down so there is massive amounts of room! no more fighting to get the stroller in the trunk! Love it, but do miss the car a little bit. I think it is more sentimentel because we bought that car because I was expecting my DD, and it has been so good to us for the past two years, but now we need more room!
other than that, the pg is going great! I can't believe how fast it is actually going already! the doctors say i am sixteen weeks, because they want me to go by my last AF. But I know that I am only 15 weeks, because my last AF was my miscarriage and I ovulated three weeks after this date, not two weeks like they expect. So I haven't changed my dates on here yet. According to them I will be due jan 6, but I am expecting to be due more like the 14th. My doctor said that they won't change my dates until my ultrasound, which I am sure then they will. Baby has been doing well. I listen to the heartbeat every few days with my home doppler, and I felt the baby move for the first time a couple days ago! That is the best feeling in the world! I do find myself still forgetting that I am pregnant sometimes. I remember with my DD that is all I focused on because she was my first. Now with her here, I focus so much attention on her that I forget about the little one inside of me. I'm sure it is normal, but I do feel guilty sometimes thinking that I am not spending enough time on this baby. I haven't bought this baby one item yet, and I think I will soon, so that it feels more real! Can't wait until I get a little farther along and can feel strong movements from the baby everyday. That will be a great reminder!
Sorry, about the crazy long blog, I guess I should update more often. Hope everyone is doing well. I better go as DH will be home any minute from grocery shopping and we are going to make homemade pizza together while DD is napping. He is a great man, who is so helpful to me! I got to sleep until 1:00 today as he got up with DD, this morning! I could never ask for more! Take care!
