27-5-2008 - what a journey!

My mood while writing this blog: Ok

21weeks today
I can't believe that I've made it halfway through this journey already. The first few weeks of this pregnancy seemed to tick by so slowly. Each day seemed an eternity. There were times though, when just making it through the day meant surviving. And now here we are - we have climbed the mountain and we're on the downwards slope now. Only 19 more weeks until I can hold my little man in my arms, and kiss him, and count his little fingers and toes.

I had my college graduation last week. It's crazy to think that I will be a college graduate and a mommy all in the same year - I was begining to doubt that I would be either, ever. I graduated from the social work diploma program with honours. Yay me! Shawn (my hunny) has been the biggest support to me - most of my family thought that me going back to school was a waste of time and money. I didn't do well in high school - they thought I'd fail college too. Well I showed them - but more importantly I showed myself! I am capable of a lot more than I thought possible!

Well the sun is shining and it looks like it will be a beautiful day! I think I'm going to walk to work while I can still walk and not waddle. (hehe)
