11-7-2008 - today will be a better day

My mood while writing this blog: optimistic

Shawn sorta made my morning - he woke up, stretched and looked at me with a twinkle in his eye and said; "I had a dream about the baby last night". He doesn't really talk about the new addition to our family a whole lot, and I know it's because it's only just becoming more real to him as I get bigger and he can see and feel the baby moving more.
So his dream...The baby was born as a toddler. He had this shaggy (surfer style) hair and bright blue eyes. He was trying to stand and take his first steps on his own. Shawn was thinking "Oh Gawd! He's not supposed to move his head - he needs someone to support his head!" Then I come in and I swaddle up this toddler and he's instantly a little newborn infant. Shawn holds him and the baby winks at him.
Shawn said he feels more like a dad after having this dream - like something clicked... "it was a dad sort of dream".
