03-12-2009 - Second trimester, here we come!

My mood while writing this blog: Tired and stressed

Lol....that emoticon just says it all.

Eh. It's been a very rough few weeks. I'm not sure if that weird gagging thing was due to morning sickness or not but it has doggedly persisted. I haven't thrown up again, but I just keep feeling like I have to gag, all the time. I've managed to get a few consecutive nights' sleep, as long as I stay in one position and don't move all night. :P It makes my head, neck, shoulder and hip hurt, but sleep is necessary. Well, it's been slowly getting better, though I really do have good days and bad days. Headaches and fatigue are persisting.

I was finally accepted for insurance but we haven't recieved the cards yet. That doesn't surprise me one darn bit to be honest. It took them three weeks longer than they estimated it would even to send me the acceptance letter, so I'm not expecting to be able to get into the doctor for another 6 weeks. I hope baby is okay in there. I think I'm fairly low-risk, but I would feel so awful to find out that I've been doing something horribly wrong these last three months because I didn't know.

Hubby and I are going to visit his family in Connecticut over the next few days...tonight I get to go on an overnight flight after a 3 1/2 hour drive to the nearest major airport. Yay. I'm not looking forward to it, lol. Between that, family drama and health drama, it's a wonder I haven't gone crazy!

Boy...there's a lot of stuff they don't tell you about pregnancy. I guess I don't blame them, it's different for everyone. I just don't understand those women who are all happy and full of energy. I feel like a bloated, weepy, irritable, sick cow. Well, wish me luck...
