07-7-2008 - 4th of July weekend

My mood while writing this blog: Tired

Happy late 4th of July to you ladies!! I had a stressful-exciting weekend. Thursday I got off work early due to we got done early and I went home and slept!!! It felt soo wonderful... I loved it, I got to catch up on my sleep.. Friday Brian and I went to my parents house and had a BBQ with them and my neighbor family and we had such a blast... Here in the Pacific Northwest we have an awesome firework show on the Columbia River so we went down there and watched that Firework show... It's the largest firwork show West of the Mississsippi River so you can only imagine how big it is!! :) After that we went home and watched the nighbors light off fireworks so we had a blast.. Brian Finally flet Lukas kick it was amazing for him to FINALLY feel him.. Saturday was an evenful day we woke up early (thanks to the wonderful cats that we have) Brian went to work and at home is were I sat until he got off work .. Borning!! Then after that we went and rented a movie and sat some more woohoo (or not) I started to feel a little strange, not like my self... I was getting lower pelvic pain, I was thinking maybe it's because he finally went head down (he's laying left to right) or what is going on.. I just tried to not pay attention to it and let my body do my thing.. but i couldn't, i started to cry my eyes out telling Brian I did something wrong and I hurt Lukas and all this strange stuff... Now Sunday we woke up to my mom calling us at 11 AM telling us to get up because she had a supprise for us.. So we got up showered and all that jazz and then we went and got his crib!! Neatless to say it took us 4 hrs. to put it together but we did it!! He has his crib all set up!!! Then that sharp pain came back.. So I told Brian about it, went and took a warm bath and then went to bed... Woke up this morning and bodda bing bodda boom the pain was 10 time worse, I can't sit, I can't lay down, I can't stand.. I can't do anything, it hurts so I called the stupid Doctor and they are like, "We will have your OBGYN advice Nurse call you back as soon as they get in this morning" ..... BS I had to call them back after 2 hrs... and she's like "Oh it's a natural thing your body goes through, blah blah blah, I don't believe that, so I'm leaving work early, going to the Dr. and making them figure this out, I'm scared shit less.. :) but I know Lukas is ok, he's kicking right now!!

I'm glad you had a good 4th. sounds like the show was amazing. Funny I got my crib set up this weekend too! I have been getting those pelivc pains but mine come and go. I just chaulked them up to those braxton hicks contractons. They certainly hurt like hell though.. if they are glimpses into what labor is gunna be like I'm gunna be walking into the hospital door and asking for the anastiologist! I hope yours are just braxton hicks things and nothing is really wrong. keep us informed hun. I'm glad your at least assured lukas is okay cuz he's sending you morris code kicks..lol..
follow your instincts and if they won't listen ask for someone else who will give you peace of mind.

have them do an ultrasound. not everything is normal. when i had the twins they said the pain was gas. i was in labor n i didnt know it. even at the hospital i bled n they said it was nothing. til 9 hrs later when they realized i was fully dilated and cut me open. take everything serious! (not 2 scare you) but someone had told me that when i was first pregnant with the twins n i didnt listen n i lost mine the same way she lost hers. its scarey. n it happens alot.
