12-5-2009 - Inevitable

My mood while writing this blog: sad

As you all might know, I was 5 weeks pregnant up until Mother's Day. I had the family gathering at my house and the day was going great until about 4:30pm when I went to the bathroom and wiped, noticing some brown and then bright red. I instantly knew I was loosing the baby. My parents were still at my house and I had to stay calm because they did not even know I was pregnant yet. When they left I broke down, telling my husband. On Monday I went to the doctor and they did an internal ultra sound and then blood work to confirm. I have not heard back from the doctor as of yet and it has been a very long, emotional last few days. I have to stay strong and not think about it as I have two children at home already to take care of. The spotting turned into more of a heavy period and has not stopped yet so it would be by the grace of God that I was still pregnant. I understand that everything happens for a reason although it is still super hard to wrap my mind around. I know that when the time is right I will have my third child but for now I want to wish everyone who is pregnant or trying the best of luck and thank you to everyone for their well wishes and prayers.
