Good morning everyone. Yesterday was bitter-sweet for me. I had an excellent appointment at the OB doctor. They did an ultrasound to make sure my little bean is growing okay and I could even see the heartbeat flicker on the screen....I completely melted!
My excitement diminished fast when I recieved a call from my sister late last night. She is six years older than me but we are super close. She has 4 children: 16, 14, 13, 11 and it seems as though her husband walked out on her last night. To make matters worse, it is her birthday today. I was on Facebook last night talking with her kids and they seem to think he left because of them and are just devastated. I am sick to my stomach thinking about this and really request all of your prayers to get them through this.

oh no,My dad done the same 2 years ago to my mum they were married for 31 years and my husband caught him with someone else.you will have to just be her rock and in 6 months time when its old news just remember to her it will seem like yesterday - please let her know i am thinking of her remember she is the rich one she has all the family and all the support he has nothing and certainly no respect.

Oh hun, bittersweet indeed. Happy to hear that your baby is doing well, sad for your sis and her kids. If the man was not man enough to stay, maybe they are better off unless he gets help for the problems that made him run. Make sure to keep telling the kids that it is not their fault - Tell them that often - and that sometimes adults just can't handle their responsibilities and they run. I hope he gets help to realize the mistake he made. ((hug))
