So pretty much i'm just wondering if anyone else will be going to their birthing classes with out the daddy?

I wouldnt worry about it.. My hubby will not be attedning either.. My friend will be sitting in for him since I dont have family here..

Girl my man won't go just because he says it sounds "gay" so my mom is going with me. I don't think anyone will say or think anything. Don't worry about it :)

When u get to the class, I would announce to everyone that Daddy is in training & your mom is just filling in for him. I'm sure everyone will think it's great!

I haven't taken any birthing classes, but I've been told that they usually have a very comfortable, understanding environment. My sister-in-law goes to La Leche meetings, and she has made at least two pretty close friends already. I think you'll find it'll actually be a great way to feel supported since your baby's dad isn't able to be with you right now. :)

So pretty much i'm just wondering if anyone else will be going to their birthing classes with out the daddy?
My man is off in the military and has been sent over to N.C for more schooling for a month and a half and is going to be missing going to the birthing classes which start this wed! and only go 4 weeks. So in his place my mom will be coming with me. Is anyone else going to be having their mom's go with them instead of their men? Will the other couples look at me funny and wonder why my man isn't there with me? Or am i just worrying about something stupid and they probably wont even notice?
