31-1-2009 - contractions

My mood while writing this blog: ok

I woke up at 2.30am with contractions. I lay there for about an hour and a half, falling back to sleep in between each contraction. at about 4 am i decided to get up, get a pen, paper and a watch and start timeing them. My partner just happened to be on a fishing trip with the boys and was about an hour and a half drive away, so i didnt know what to do. I almost called my mum to ask her to take me to hospital (that way i thought they could give me a CTG to see what was going on)... at that stage they were 5 minutes apart, but still only mild. Then at about 4.30am they started to get weeker and further in between. I fell back to sleep, and woke up at 5.30am and they had completly stopped.... thank goodness! I really didnt want to have the baby with out my partner! Today i feel fine- well im very tired, but ill get an eairly night tonight. It makes me wonder if i could be dialated! I would love to have this baby a few weeks eairly! My last bub was a whopping 10 pound 2 oz and if i have this one a little sooner it would be great! Then i wont end up with another big one! How exciting, ill get to see him soon!!! YAY!
