My mood while writing this blog: Ok

MAY 2008

May 1st:

I went to the doctors today. My blood pressure is super low and he got me to get my blood checked for anemia. If thats not the cause of me fainting suddenly then it could be a chance its a valve in my heart. I go in a week and a half to my next prenatal appointment where I will be 18 weeks!

May 4th:

I have been having terrible headaches all day. Im starting to think that Im getting a yeast infection. I also started taking Iron pills today so I can boost up my intake. Im hoping this is the cause of me feeling so BLAH for the last week. I get to go see my Dr. in a week so Im hoping that I get to hear the heartbeat this time, I know s/he is there as my tummy has been used as a soccer ball for a few weeks!

May 5th:

Lastnight I spent most of my night hugging the porcelan god(toilet) It was definatly NOT very nice, I thought this M/S had passed since I had it so late in my pregnancy. Well after a week of nothing, IT CAME BACK :( Anyways, I thought it would be nice for me to post up my angel details, Ive had 2 M/C in the TTC journey for our first child. So this is my memory for them.

May 6th:

We took a drive to our closest Walmart today (next town from us) and I was looking in the baby secion.. There was SOOO many girls clothes that I was SUPER tempted to buy, I had the same effect with Lucas for boy clothing before we found out his gender. I was putting girl clothes up to my belly and saying "Is this totally me??" Asking DH If I could PLEASE PLEASE get some cute girl stuff, and if it ends up being a boy I have tonns of friends who are having girls. It was just amazing how many cute girl things were there.. Anyways I gotta go :)

May 11th:

So tomorrow is my 18 weeks!!! I cant beleive its already ALMOST halfway there. DH let me sleep in this morning and he stormed into the bedroom at 10am screaming HAPPY MOTHERS DAY MY LOVE and gave me my breakfast in bed. He even put ketchup on the side saying "Happy Mothers Day" and had Lucas there with him all happier than a kid at a carnival! It was super sweet. We then waited for my parents to get back home and we went there and made Porkchops on the barbeque, corn and some potatoes. I ate everything but only a bit of meat. For some reason meat is not my favortie this pregnancy! Anyways, its already 11PM and I should be sleeping as I gotta wake up to a little 14 monther tomorrow, I just thought Id share my Mothers Day!

May 15th:

I went to my prenatal checkup today! Got the results back from the bloodwork to see if I was anemic, Im not! YAY thats a releif! He said my iron intake was GREAT! I asked him when my blood pressure was the last visit and he said it was 110/70 so its not too low from my normal which is usually 120/80 but it explains my dizzy/fainting spells. He took it again today and it was the exact same. He told me not to cross my legs and sit for too long periods of time so I guess that means comming on the computer as often as I do is outta the question, I also have to be safe when I take a bath cause it could cause my blood pressure to get even lower and cause me to faint again. Ummn, either than that baby is doing well, he measured my fundus and said i was right on target and finally found the heartbeat!!!! 168BPM What a strong beat for such a little guy/girl! Lucas was 156 BPM the whole pregnancy so Im hoping that its higher for a girl LOL. I go in Next wednesday for my BIG ULTRASOUND! And will finally be able to say Im having a Boy or a girl!!!

May 21st:

I went for my BIG ultrasound today! Baby looks healthy and right on target! Heart rate was 144BPM which is a bit different from my last check up. I think the doctor assumed wrong. The only problem is that the baby is Transverse feet are dangling at my "privates" and back is at my breasts. We couldnt get a very clear picture of the face tho, but thats alright cause I found out that we are expecting a GIRL! Her name will be Kaidence Marie!

May 22nd:

Today I have decided to put a new style and setting on everything. Now that we know its a GIRL I can stay pink and keep everything on the same colour pallet. I got rid of the belly pictures and have decided to just keep the belly picture of the week up and the latest ultrasound picture. On the side you can still check out my belly pictures and what not to track the changes. Under all the updates you will find a bunch of neat things!
