06-11-2009 - Huh Daisys surgery...

My mood while writing this blog: tired

huh i just told a friend to read my blogs bout daisys health...and you know what i have no blogs of daisys health. Well heres a short verison for those who dont know whats going on~

Daisy had brain surgery on the 19th of August. Found out in June that she had a tumor on the right temperalobe of her brain that was causing her to have seizures. She had Simple Complex Seziures. Which means quick seizures. She would just have chewing motion and right eye would twitch and in May she started to turn blue and passing out. Was in hospital serveral times since then.

The surgery was able to remove the tumor from her brain. Did an MRI last week and said everything looked good!

We got some gut punching news just wednesday saying that Dr. Roger Packer from The Childrens National Medical Center who is a pediatric tumor specialist, didnt want to wait til our appointment in December with him to see her he wants to see her on monday the 9th of november. The secitary explained to me that the tumor itself that they removed from her brain had some aggressive spots and he is wanting to talk bout further treatment. Meaning Chemotherapy! So we are headed to DC on Sunday to visit some friends and staying @ there house sunday night and then going to the doctors appt @ 2pm.

so this is purdy much it so far. Will know more after monday.

And i also got offerend a job on 1st shirt with a local nursing home in which is 20 minutes closer, good hours, less pay. but i have to think bout daisy. i go on a interview on tuesday morning and am planning attending the workshop on wednesday if i plan to take the job. So wish me luck and wish it was i want!
