14.12.07 Still no baby movement! someone asked me when am due today which means i look pregnant now not fat lol!!
20.12.07 think baby is kicking now but coz i am so active duringthe day i dont know if i am just not noticing it!! next scan isnt til the 2nd jan which we will hopefully find out the sex! it is killing me not knowing i wanna go start shopping for pink or blue!!
I wasnt so bothered on what sex the baby was but my husband told mw he wanted a little girl the other day so i kinda want a girl more now!! only 13 more sleeps to go before we find out!! an we still cant decide on names! it is such a trauma aargh!! x x
21.12.07 yep its defo on the move!! was having a gossip wi some of my girlie friends an i got kicked sooo hard!!! if its a girl she defo wanted to get in on the action lol!!think if its a girl we are calling her grace an jamie for a boy! seems like we are finally getting some where!! x x
22.12.07 am writing this at half one in the morn! i have just got back from hospital coz i have broken my foot yey not!!! this is all i need for xmas :(
31.12.07 hi well my broken foot pretty much ruined xmas for me!! kids enjoyed it so that is the main thing! 2 days to go til we find out what we are having i cant wait! i am hoping for a girl but have a little niggle in my head telling me its a boy! either way i cant wait to have a baby in the house again!
03.1.2008 ITS A GIRL!!! OMG am soo excited! cant wait never thought i would have my own little girl i just wanna go shopping now! I went to the scan a bit down in the dumps coz i had to go on my own my husband has had full blown flu since the day before new years eve an i hoped he would have recovered but obviously not. Iwas so upset that he missed it but i know he would of gone if he was physically able so i cant blame him really! one more thing before i go ITS A GIRL!!! LOL!! X X X
7.1.08 after my time recovering from my injury i have gone back to work! i thought i mised it til i went back an its the same ol s**t as normal its soo frustrating! cant wait to leave! I have found my self getting increasingly paranoid bout the sex of the baby we got told its a girl but i know of 2 cases where the docs have been wrong an its the opposite gender! we have all we possibly need for gracie now an i will be devastated if she turns out to be a he!! its unreasonable i know an i should be grateful to be expecting but i want this girl soo much it would break my heart!! oh here i go again being a drama queen!! somebody shoot me!!lol!! x x
22.01.07 been to midwife today al seems well!! she said she measures a little bigger than our dates gave us so she is gonna be a big baby or my dates are wrong! Am hoping my dates are wrong aside from the obvious reason that noone wants to push a big baby out i always thought my dates were a little off kilter! my lmp was 17th aug an lasted for one day only it was soo bad and heavy(soz for the graphic details!!) i have never experienced a period like it!! i am usually a 4 day type of girl an it never changes month to month but hey ho the professionals know best! i will see my baby girl when she is ready! I am starting to get tired again now but i dont know if that has anything to do with the fact i am currently working 9 days in a row which works out to something ridiculous like 100hrs work!! roll on maternity leave!
28.1.08 i keep having these very weird disturbing dreams an it always involves grace coning early not good early either! they were a little unsettling at first an now they are just plain weird! i feel knackered coz they keep waking me up!
4.02.08 A momentous occasion today! I officially have my first stretch mark! Bio oil an cocoa butter obviously dont work on me! am gutted i had hoped to get a bit further on before they started showing up. My boys have been poorly over the past couple of days which hasnt been fun. My wkend was me running round after them! But i guess thats what mums do! Oh marks mum has made the best baby blanket ever!!!! it is soo good think am gonna keep it for myself lol! x x
19.02.08 Midwife appt tomorrow which strangely im looking forward to! I keep having these dizzy spells an would just like the reassurance that its normal rather than something wrong! I've had blood pressure issues already with this one an would like my last few weeks to be smooth! We have been looking at 4d scans on the internet an we think we are gonna get one!! just need to see if i can get in but that will only happen if they answered the bloody phone!!! will update tomorrow after midwife appt!
20.02.08 Been to midwife all seems ok they think she had a growth spurt coz she is measuring fine now so thats a relief!! they think am a bit anaemic coz i keep goig really dizzy but will find out in a couple of days. I have booked my 4d scan!! we are getting it done on sunday! I didnt think we would get in that fast, its gonna be so awesome! I wanted one to check that she is still a girl(you all know how paranoid i am lol!) an thought it would be great to see. They where so expensive trhe first time round with my boys an cant believe how cheap they are now! We are gonna take the boys with us but they dont know it yet its gonna be an amazing surprise for them! am sooo excited!!!
11.03.08 just got back from hosp following water leaking scare and all is good!! she is growing at a good rate an now weighs approx 3lb 12oz!! iv been put on iron tablets which aint much fun but hey ho my baby is great!!!
26.03.08 nearly 33 wks now! I cant believe it! This pregnancy seems to be flying and now i am feeling a little daunted on the fact i am going to have a baby again! They say its like riding a bike and that you dont forget but i am really worried i have! Its little things like is she too warm or have i fed her enough thats the one thats worrying me coz the boys were both bottle fed and i want to breast feed this time round so i am a bit worried i will get it wrong but how hard can it be eh???lol!! Been to the midwife today and she has dropped already however she has been up and down more times than i can count in this past 2 wks so its not really meaning much to me! Itold her about the mean midwife at the hospital and she checked who was looking after me and she said that the midwife has had a couple of complaints on her bedside manner already!!! Iwish i had known and i would of put an official complaint in but its all water under the bridge unless i get her in the labour room!!!! We are currently decorating 3 rooms at the moment coz i have this whole''' lets get things ready NOW''' thing going on nearly finished one so only 2 more to go!! Good job i am on maternity leavr now otherwise i would be buggered!!! any hoo i hear the paintbrush calling me again so am gonna go an get blathered in paint again!!
02.04.08 OOH NEW SITE!! I ended back in hosptal again on monday after i woke up and discovered blood all over my bed!!! as you can imagine i was pretty freaked out but coz of the way the last midwife at the hospital treat me i was apprehensive about going back in but go back in i did and after thorough examinations they could find no explanations and put it down to 'one of those things!'The staff were completly the opposite of the evil midwife and made me feel loads better of which i am grateful the only thing they said was to take it easy for a couple of days so that i have!!!
12.05.08 Well hello! i aint been on here for a while so thoght id better give you all a quick update!! i am now 4 days from my due date!!i have never even made it into single figures before let alone this close to my date!!! I have been a bit down about it thinking i should have my baby now but after a stern telling off from my midwife bout expecting too much from myself i have realised she is only gonna come when she is ready so there is no point stressing bout it coz its not gonna achieve anything!!! I have had a couple of false starts where i honestly thought it was gonna happen then it stops! That jus annoys the hell out of me!! been having braxton hicks continually for 2 days now so hopefully that is the start of something but i aint gonna get my hopes up coz sods law it will end in nothing!! Hopefully next time i update my page i will be doing my birthstory lol!!!!!
20.05.08 well another update for you all!! On friday 16th i thought my water broke so i rang hospital and they told me it sounded like my hindwaters had broken and that the chance of infection was minimal!! WTF are hind waters lol!! It caused quite a debate amongst the wks i can tell you! Anyhoo i trusted the docs and left it to there judgemnet and after a fairly uneventful weekend i started cleaning in my dressing gown( prob the only thing that fits now lol!) and once more i lost some fluid it actually ran down my leg! So i phoned hospital again and insisted they see me this time coz i was worried bout infection setting in by this point. So off i trot to hospital with my overnight bag(just in case!!) and i get checked out. After being examined they discovered i am not actually leaking water but i have an infection on my cervix and the fluid i smy bodys way of trying to 'flush' it out. I was relieved to find baby was safe and she is at no risk from infection and my infection explained quite a few things for me like weird lady pains and what not i got tested for strep b which isnt routinely done in uk too so anyway while midwife was having a rummage down there with her swabs she must have dislodged something coz i went to pee this morn bout 4.30am and there was all this blood!! I nearly fell off the toilet in shock i int seen any colour down there in 10 months lol! Iwas pretty sure it was my show but jus wanted to confirm it was so i rang hosp again and lucky me got the bitch of a midwife who upset me earlier in my pregnancy and she confirmed what i already knew! I have never been so happy to see blood from that area lol! i am now 4 days over and tho i know it doesnt mean i will go into labour within the next 24 hrs it pleases me immensly to know something is happeming!! Ihave however been having a lot of bachache and period pain cramps so fingers crossed ladies i might jus have a baby soon lol!!!!
