04-6-2009 - Doc app. IrritatedMy mood while writing this blog:
Irritated

I guess im not really sure what a "normal" appointment is supposed to be like. The first time I got pregnant I was in VA at Marine Corps Base Quantico and was sent to an Army facility for my doctor. She was really nice and my appointments were always really good. Then I moved here in my 6 month and its like these people could care less. Whatever! I made it through my pregnancy and had a great delivery.
Well now Im pregnant again and being seen at Hospital on base... again. Well this is the 2nd time I have seen this doctor... the first time was great! I really liked her. This time she was 30 minutes late, checked to find a heartbeat( did not wait to hear how many beats) asked if I had any questions, and prescribed me meds all in 5 minutes. I mean she's a nice lady, but why am I going to wake up early, wake my daughter up early, waste my gas and my time for a 5 minute appointment. I have a doppler at home so I can hear his heartbeat myself. Im just really frustrated at the lack of care that is put into this facility. I wish there was more that could be done, but for now all I can do is switch doctors. O yes and I get to be seen every 6 weeks until I hit 35 weeks then its every 2 weeks. ERR!!!

God, that sounded like a terrible appointment! :( I'm sorry. Do they have facilities to provide U/S? I wish you could have seen your little one...
