08-9-2008 - My baby shower

So good morning all! I had my baby shower yesterday. My mom and SIL arranged it all for me and it was great. My cousin and aunt surprised me by coming up this weekend for the shower. I was not expecting them to come at all. They came with my grandmother and she usually can't keep a secret, so I was shocked that she was able to keep quiet about it. They weren't here for long, but they plan on coming back up after the baby is born, so they will stay longer then. My boy got ALOT of good stuff. He got some really cute clothes, which was very needed. I got my bedding that I registered for. My MIL got that for me. She is going to make me a valance for his room to match it too! We got his room all put together this past weekend. Now I just have to wash everything and get everything put away and get his bedding put on the bed. It actually looks like a baby's room now and not just a room full of crap!! I am so excited for this little guy to get here so we can hold him and love on him!! My son is getting so excited too. My mom got him a t-shirt that says "I'm the big brother." He had to wear it to school today!!

So tonight I will start washing everything so I can get it all put away. I already have the outfit I want him to wear home from the hospital picked out. My mom gave it to me. It's these cute little plaid overalls. It's like a lite blue with a brown strip on it. It is so cute. I got a few outfits that come with hats, and I just love the hats. My cousin got him these little bibs with his name and inititals on them. They are they cutest thing I have ever seen. I almost cried when I saw them!! Ok, so I have gushed enough about all the cute things he got. More blogs to come. I got back to the Dr. on Thursday, will update after that!
