12-9-2009 - Galstones!!!!!

My mood while writing this blog: What else could I have!!!!

So, last night around 10pm I started having bad back pain, but I thought it was because I had just gotten back from Mat watching his softball game. So, I took and shower thinking it would be fine and I just needed to sleep it off....well I stayed awake till 3am in bad bad pain just crying!!!! So I called the doctor and he told me to go to Labor and Deliver RIGHT AWAY!!!!! My poor hubby was so panicked he floored the car to about 100!!! LOL!!!! Crazy man!!! Anyways, they hooked me on some moniters and noticed I was having contractions, but they would come and go. So, the doctor decided that I needed to stay the rest of the day and night.come to find out....I have galstones!!!!! Good thing is, they did not rupture and they are not inflammed....so no surgery needed....thank god. But once the baby is born, they might have to take them out!!!! Berlyn is doing great.....it was great hearing her heart beat all night!!!!

Yikes, so glad you're okay and they figured out what was going on! I wouldn't have even thought of gallstones with backpain but I just had a friend that passed kidney stones the day before she had her baby so I guess these things happen (everything went well for her but she wished she didn't have to deal with that before delivery). Glad your little girl isn't early!!
