10-8-2009 - what can it be?

My mood while writing this blog:

ok ladys so I noticed yesterday some moschito looking bumps that were red and itchy..i thought Chicken pox`s..OH NO..So I called the Doctor and told her about it..and today I went into the Ob unit to be seen..And they couldnt even tell me what it was..Kinda scary if you ask me..so now I have these mositoes looking bumps on my belly and back..They gave me some cream to put on them for the itching so hopfully in the next few days they will go away?? I cant think of where i have been to get somthing like this..I thought maybe it was the heat but if it was im sure they would have faded..so im taken it day by day to see if they go away I belive I have only had them sence yesterday..they dont belive it is Meseles or Mumps or Rebela..Or chicken pox`s THEN WHAT IS IT?? your the doctor..lol..so I will keep you updated on as to weather they are getting better or not in a few days

It sounds to me like you are experiencing the ever so lovely pregnancy PUPPS, which I am currently dealing with as well. I get them all over my thighs, butt, tummy and boobs and boy do they itch like crazy. The doctor said Cortozone 10 is safe to use and it really does help a lot with the itching, so maybe you should pick some of that up. It also tends to clear it up for a few days because the itching will make it spread every where!!! She also told me that if I keep getting them, they will induce me at 37 weeks because the only way to get rid of them is to deliver being that the rash is caused by your own hormones. Either way they are truly awful, so I hope you find some relief!!

Ummm....I looked online & it kinda sounds like PUPPS rash that some people get while pregnant but you didnt say anything about them being ichy or not...hmmm, I know our skin is easily irritated while we are preggers. Hope you find something out tho to help you....let us know.

might be shinngles..I got those this pregnancy..if you google the pictures of shinngles they look real bad..but I only got 5 spots of them on my side..and they itch a little..look like mosquito bites..the doc told me that because i'm pregnant the baby inside me would get chickenpox from the shingles..you can't catch shingles..there's the shingles virus that lives in your spine when you have chickenpox..you get an outbreak of shingles if you are stressed or get a low immune system..(pregnancy causes low emunity and stress...)..so might be that...keep us posted..x
