02-4-2008 - 6 Months old.. 4/4/08

In 2 days (April 4, 2008) Sydney will be 6 Months Old. I still can not believe how fast the time has gone by. She is almost half a year old. With in the last week I have started feeding Sydney rice cereal. The first day she hated it, the next day went a little better and as of yesterday she seems like she is starting to enjoy it. The first bite she still makes a funny face, like what the heck are you feeding me.. but the second bite she is opening her mouth for more.

Two weeks ago Sydney started sitting up by herself. It has made my life so much eaiser, because she always loved to be in a sitting position so she could see what was going on, but I can't hold her 24/7. So now i can just sit her down and put a few toys infront of her and she will be content for a long time. Her next big goal is crawling. We have been practicing everyday, she wants to so bad but i don't think she is quite strong enough just yet.

Tomorrow Sydney has a doctor's appt to get her 6 month shots. I can't take her, so Daddy will be taking her. But I will get an update from him and let everyone know how it goes.
