28-4-2009 - 37 week appt

My mood while writing this blog:

i had my 37 week appt, the doc checked me he said i wwas very soft or my cervix is very soft, YEAH!!! and the baby dropped that surprised me i thought i was still high!!! yeah!!! he said im not dilated yet BOOO!!! but im happy with everything else he said.... i lost a pound so im did gain 4 lbs total now im down to 3 lbs total!!!

well thats it,, ive been pumping my boobs every 2 days to stimulate contractions, it works a little i jhust finished pumping a few mins ago... i walked about1 1 1/2 miles today to soo my goal is when they check me next week i would have dilated some.. and im going to try and have sex in a few HEHE!!!

This past weekend, I was fed up with the discomforts of pregnancy!!! II decided to take matters into my own hands. On saturday, I went to a wedding and danced as much as I could. . I wanted to Cupid Shuffle him out!!! On Sunday, my DH and I got down to business...LOL!!! I also walked alot on Sunday!!!

Well it worked!!! Sunday night I was wathcing TV when I noticed a trickle. I thought I was sweating so I kept watching TV. I continued to feel trickles. I had been losing my mucus plug for the past week so I just went to the bathroom, wiped, and returned to watch TV. Well when I felt more trickles, I decided to call my doctor. They wanted me to come right in to check to see if it was amniotic fluid. It was important that I received antibiotics as soon as my water broke because I was postive for GBS.

Well I arrived at the hospital @ 10:30pm Sunday night. They told me my water had broken and I was 2cm. I stayed at 2 cm for about 10 hours. I got an epidural 6 hours in because the pain was NOT THAT GREAT!!! Well they gave me pitocin to increase the intensity of my contractions. A few more hours in , I was a 4cm.....then 6cm. All of a sudden the nurse started preparing the room for delivery. I said, "but I'm only 6cm". They told me I was dilating quickly and they wanted to be prepared. Well, I went from 6cm to 10 cm in 30 minutes!!!! He was still high up when I started to push. They told me if I couldn't get him down they would have to do an emergency C-Section. I didn't want to push at first becasue it felt like I was going to SHIT all over the place. They said it is suppose to feel like a bowel movement! Well as soon as I heard C-section, I pushed as if I was making a bowel movement (sorry TMI). Out came Troy in 30 minutes.!!!!! I haven't stopped smiling yet. (Except for when I did not get sleep my 1st night home..LOL) (Oh yea and they had to cut me so I'm not smiling now because I'm sitting down!!!!)

You are too silly!! I am glad all is well lady!! Hey you could try some mineral oil LOL. Just kiddin!!! Its so weird when you pump how your uterus contracts....scared me when I first did it lol. Anyways keep us posted lady!!!
