My mood while writing this blog: tired of being pregnant

Well i love to read the birthstories that the new mommies put up, i was wondering if some of you can share your previous birth stories or if you just delivered your new stories, i find them to be so interesting!!!

i dont care how old they are if they are 10 years i just want all the details...

here is my birth story from my 1st child ,,, she is now 11 years old. Well i never ever remember having contractions at all and i dont remember ever being checked to see if i was opening up.. i was only 18 at the time so i probably did not know to ask those type of questions. Well my due date was Sept 10 2007 and when i was due my doctor was on vacation!! I just remember being tired of being pregnant!!! well by Sept 17th i was fed up i called L&D and i made up a story, HEHE i told them that my water broke, but of course it did not, they told me to come in so i did and of course when i got there they told me my water did not break and i just acted as if i was surprised!! they told me they were going to send me home but since i was 7 days over due they wanted me back in the morning at 8am so we went back the next morning which was sept 18 2007 a thursday and they started to induce me with pitocin.. i dont remember the contractions getting bad until later on that night around midnight or so... i was dialating very slow around 3 am i was only like 3 cm and they gave me an epidural... which did make me feel great but i think it was a mistake!!! i think it really slowed me down in my progress.. then by the afternoon on sept 19th fri i had only gone 2 more cm to 5cm thats it!!!! around 3pm they asked me if i just wanted to get a c -section because i was not progessing, i said yes.. really i felt bad for her dad we had been there in this room almost 3 days and i was only half way there... the epidural slowed me down wish i never would have gotten it!! so i went had a c-section and she was born 5lb 13 oz 18 inches long

this is my story.. this time around i plan to avoid an epidural as long as i can.. i think it truelly caused my c-section to happen... they are letting me try vaginal delivery so i hope this will work this time around!!

so tell me your stories, all the details and tell me what lead up to the actual day of delvery ie sex, walking castrol oil etc or just plain contractions!!!
