28-1-2010 - IT'S A *********** !!!!!

My mood while writing this blog:
HAPPY

WELL I AM 18 WEEKS TODAY. TODAY WAS MY OFFICAL ULTRASOUND, IT WAS SCHEDULED FOR 1:30PM WELLOF COURSE IM ALWAYS LATE I GOT THERE AT 2PM OPPS! LOL WELL THEY SAID THEY HAD TO WORK ME IN AND THEY DID NOT KNOW HOW LONG I WOULD HAVE TO WAIT, I WAS DETERMINED TO STAY BECAUSE I WANTED TO KNOW SO BAD WHAT THE BABY'S SEX WAS, SO AFTER ALMOST 3 HOURS OF WAITING!!! YES 3 HOURS THEY FINALLY CALLED MY NAME , AND I WAS SO PLEASANT AND CALM NO ATTITUDE AT ALL AFTER ALL IT WAS MY FAULT. WELL I HAVE 4 YES 4 SISTERS NO BROTHERS AND I HAVE 2 DAUGHTERS AND 1 STEPSON SO I WANTED A SON SO SO SO SO BAD. EVEN THOUGH I HAVE A STEP SON IT IS NOT THE SAME AS HAVING A SON FROM BIRTH MY STEP SON DOES NOT LIVE WITH ME AND I CANT MAKE ALOT OF CHOICES FOR HIM SO IT IS VERY DIFFERENT. WELL THE ULTRASOUND LADY DID ALL THE STUFF SHE HAD TO TAKE PICS OF THEN IT CAME TIME TO SEE IF IT IS A BOY OR GIRL.... WELL THE BABYS LEGS WERE CROSSED AND SHE SAID I THINK I SEE SOMETHING BUT YOUR GOING TO HAVE TO COME BACK TO MAKE SURE,, MY HEART WAS BEATING SO SO FAST!! THEN SHE PUSHED ON MY TUMMY A BIT AND THEN SHE SAW IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
IT IS A BBBBBBBBBBOOOOOOYYYYYYY!!!!!

I COULD NOT BELEIVE IT !!!! BUT SHE SAID HE POPPED HIS STUFF ALL THE WAY OUT AND SHE WAS CERTAIN IT WAS A BOY!!!

THANK GOD NOW ME AND MY HUBBY HAVE 2 GIRLS AND 2 BOYS!!!! WONDERFUL!!!

THEN BEFORE I LEFT SHE LOOKED AT MY CERVIX... AND I GOT DRESSED AND WHEN I WAS LEAVING SHE SAID TOMORROW CALL YOUR DOCTOR FOR AN APPT... THAT THREW ME OFF I DID NOT ASK HER WHY I JUST SAID OKAY, THEN AS I WAS DRIVING I GOT SCARED THAT SOMETHING MUST BE WRONG WITH THE BABY, WHY DO I NEED TO CALL MY DOC TOMORROW? WELL AS I WAS DRIVING MY DR CALLED ME AND SAID THAT MY CERVIX WAS 2.7 CM AND THAT MEANT IT WAS THINING SHE SAID I CANT HAVE ANY MORE SEX AND NOT TO GO BACK TO WORK UNTIL I HER FROM HER, SHE SAID I NEED TO TAKE IT EASY AND SHE WAS SENDING MY FILE TO A SPECIALIST!!! I WAS RELEIVED NOTHING WAS WRONG WITH THE BABY BUT NOW I WAS SCARED ABOUT THIS THINING CERVIX THING... IM ABOUT TO GO RESEARCH IT AS SOON AS I FINISH THIS BLOG.. SO ANYONE WHO HAS KNOWLEDGE ABOUT IT PLEASE SEND ME ANY INFO YO HAVE... IM SCARED BUT I AM SECURE IN THE LORD TAKING CARE OF ME AND BABY.....

OMG...LOL I love reading your blogs u r sooo funny lol lol lol...My daughter reminds of yours lol i compare because for some reason i think they haVE similarities lol anyways...I am sooo happy that u got your boy!! Congrats on the boy, I know how you feel. There is my brother left with our family name and he still doesn't have children. So I gave my boy the family name and my dad wanted him to have his name but I really don't like it and said that would be my brother's responsibility since he has dad's name already. So the family is over joyed that I have a boy to carry on the family name and he is so sweet!! They sleep better then girls but more vocal hehe experiencing this already and he is so strong compared to what my daughter was. Listen to your doctor about the cervix thing from what I am reading from a couple of messages on here, it is serious stuff. Jaxon came 5 weeks early but you would never guess it from his size now but his development is still 5 weeks behind if not more. 9 months and he is still not crawling or climbing am he don't like to roll from back to belly. Last night at 4am though I was at the bottom of my bed and let him play and kept calling him and he got his bum up in the air and kept pushing somehow and got to the bottom of the bed to me.

oh my god I cant imagine the excitement you must feel.!! I am truly really really excited for you I am. Congratulations. And if I may say damn girl its going fast!!! How is Amani?? Also as for the thinning cervix I know alll about it. That is why I was on bedrest from 6 months on. They will keep an eye on the thinning but 2.7 is still much more than I had. I really pray that is stays the same, however there is a chance that as you get bigger the weight of the baby can put more pressure on your cervix causing it to get thinner. Eventually if it gets too thin you will be put on strict bedrest meaning get up only if you have to pee and eat that is it! I am not joking either. I am telling you take it easy and stay off your feet as much is possible while you can because you do not want to take the chance of being bedridden and then risk a premature birth. At this point I am wondering if its not too late to put a suture (a stitch) in to prevent more thinning. If you have questions please feel free to ask I know all about this from being pregnant with Azia

Congratulations on the boy...They will definitely want to keep an eye on you and your cervix more closely. Plenty of ultrasounds vaginally to measure the cervix throughout the duration of your pregnancy.Please try to delegate as much as you can to the hubby and stay off the feet as much as possible. as the added pressure is not good for your situation. I have had 2 pregnancies where i have experienced this... one without a cerclage( preemie born at 30 wks) and one with a cerclage (went full term) hope this helps.
