31-3-2009 - Grrr! Drs in Scotland are awful! Very worried

Now i will apologise for my rant in advance lol!! I'm now 6wks 4days today....over the last couple of days ive had severe cramping which i got quite worried about so tried to book a drs appointment...they wouldnt give me one. They said it wasnt necessary for me to be seen!! Eventually it got to the point where i had to go to hospital last night and the nurses there were furious i hadnt been seen!! Anyway...long story cut short i'm having to go on a long list of antibiotics so i wasnt making it up! They didnt do a scan because they dont do early scans here so im still having to wait until 12wks before i know baby is ok :( Ive not had any bleeding so i'm taking that as a positive sign. 12wks couldnt come soon enough!

hey hun, just thought i'd write you a note. i noticed your from the uk and were both due round about the same time. we also both have boys close to the same age. i read some of your blogs and it sounds like you've had a pretty rough time lately. hopefully things will start to get easier for you. if you ever need to chat bout pregnancy or coping with a 1 year old whilst being pregnant (not easy at all lol) just message me. anyhoo congrats on the pregnancy!! x
