12-8-2009 - Holiday!! :D and update

My mood while writing this blog: excited!!!

Well most of you lovely ladies know ive had a bit of a rough couple of weeks recently....mum had swine flu which was then passed onto my son and i. I have unfortunately been really unwell but i seem to be getting better by the day which is all good :D I still find it hard to do normal day to day things because i become very tired quite easily but thats easing off every day. Had my 25wk appointment with the midwife yesterday and baby is doing great which is a major relief with everything that has went on with my health. Have another appointment made for 3rd sept which is only 3wks away so it breaks up the time nicely :D

This morning me and DF booked and paid our little family holiday in full!!! We've not really had a break since we split up last year so thought it would be nice to go on a family holiday before the baby arrives. We are going to Blackpool for a week on 19th Sept so its only 5wks on saturday!! yay!! The fact that we have saved up nearly £600 to pay it in full makes me really proud! My dad also lives down there so will be nice to see him for a few days because when i come back i will only have a few short weeks before the little one arrives.

Now that the holiday is paid our next little savings is for the baby. We honestly havent bought anything yet so we better get a move on!! There is two grants in the UK to apply for help so we are going to do that also just to see if we are entitled to anything....worth a shot!! The weekend after we come back is our shopping weekend....just going to do everything in the one day which will be tiring but so much fun!! Think its the 5th oct or something.

Oh and my sister has decided to throw me a baby shower! How exciting! Its not really a thing to do in the UK unless you are mega rich but she tought it would be fun! Just have a few people over, cake and decorations etc. We never had one with Pearce so its all new and exciting for us! Because we never had one last time it will be a Pearce sprinkle and baby shower haha!!

Anyway im going to go now because im just rambling lol....im just so looking forward to getting away! Love yous all xxx
