05-9-2009 - I need another scan!

My mood while writing this blog: ok i suppose

Well i had my 28wk appointment yesterday. The midwife took my routine bloods and gave me my anti-d injection. Listened to babys heartbeat which was nice and strong. She then measured my tummy and my uterus is measuring 32cm!! eek!! At my 25wk appointment i was measuring 26cm so in 3 weeks its managed to grow 6cm! Shes referred me for a scan and its booked for 28th September so just after i come back from my holiday. Im not feeling too anxious about it because my scan would not be a good few weeks away if it was anything major would it? Midwife seems to think its more to do with my muscles not properly pulled in from being pregnant last time rather the baby being massive. The joys!!

wow!! that is a lot of growing in a short time. my firend was due in mid august, and like you she went for a check up and all of a suddens he grew-a lot! so she had a scan done at 34wks it said her baby was about 38-41wks. so they induced her in mid july, and gave birth to a 7-8lbs baby girl! good luck, i hope you are bubs are okay!
