23-12-2009 - 2 minute update

My mood while writing this blog: happy

Hey everyone! I apologise for not being on as much but looking after a 20month old and a newborn is exhausting!! Aeryn is 3 and a half weeks old now (where has the time gone?) Doing really well, at her 2wk check up she was 9lb 15 1/2oz haha! I still havent posted pictures but i will soon i promise!! Still got her days and nights mixed up which is harder to deal with this time because i cant sleep during the day to sleep it off lol!! Still trying to adjust having two children but getting there!! Ive only been on my own with the kids once so far because with having the csection i cant lift Pearce for another 5wks....well not supposed to anyway. Getting them both ready to go out is a military operation haha!

Pearce is still trying to adjust i think. Hes still so young himself. To begin with he would try and hit Aeryn but thats subsided now thank god. He has given her cuddles which is adorable. We just cant leave them in a room together haha! We had managed to get Pearce to sleep through the night but at least two or three times in the week hes up. Part of the reason i think is his teeth because he just cut one the other day and theres more following but i also think hes just playing up as well. The joys!!

Im healing quite well, taking a bit longer this time round. Still tender to the touch but im running after 2 kids so cant really expect too much! I would say im resting but im impressed if i get the chance to brush my teeth never mind rest haha! My iron levels fell quite badly after having Aeryn so going to be on iron tablets for a long time but at least i dont feel so weary.

Me and DF doing brilliantly. The difference between when we had Pearce to having Aeryn is unbelievable. Cant keep our hands off each other haha!! Holding off sleeping together though...need to make sure my body has healed. Not fun haha! We have our moments like every couple does but we are so happy now. Having Aeryn is just a statement on how much we've come through. We have booked our wedding officially.....24th July 2010 so only 7months to go!! Paid the deposit for reception. Im so excited! I'll post a link the the place where we are having the ceremony and reception to show you guys!!
