30-1-2009 - No Baby Shower For Me

My mood while writing this blog: Ok

So I'm def not having a baby shower. I don't think it will be worth the hassle. I had a very elaborate one with my first son and got ALOT of gifts! We rented our a banquet room from this huge Holiday Inn, people compared it to a wedding reception. I would end up inviting the smae people... I don't want to seem all needy. Everyone went way out for my son and I know they'll be thinking like where is all the stuff we brought you before???? The truth is my sister had her 5th baby right after I had Darius so I gave her all my baby stuff (car seat, stroller, bottles, clothes, shoes EVERYTHING!) She hasnt kept the items in good condition at ALL. So I have brought all new stuff for the new baby, which really sucks because it's another boy and it would have been great not to buy everything all over (especially since I'm not working!) I now have a new travel system, pack n' play, bassinet, clothes, my mom loves to sew so she made plenty of blankets... I'm basically set for the next three months! I feel like I'm doing pretty well so far being as how I'm alone in this until bf gets home...
