08-2-2009 - My ER Visit

My mood while writing this blog: Confused

Ok, soooo on Saturday night I was craving some chicken strips from Popeyes chicken! I rushed out the house when I got home and got out the car I slipped on a big piece of ice right outside the car door. Not sure if it was me being clumpsy or the cheap boots I had on from Walmart but I just could not catch my balance!!! I ended up almost doing a full slpit and falling on my right side, the side he lays on! Now I am a very flexible person and I usually have no problem doing a split, but this time I felt like I may have pulled something out of place or just ripped myself! I cried like a baby... not sure if it was out of pain or fear, I was really scared for the baby.

Long story short... I had my mom take me to the ER to get checked out. So I got there and of course they checked the babies heart rate and hooked me to all these monitors. I was having mild contractions which ended up stopping on their own. I was also sent for a US, which checked out fine... but the US tech said the baby was measuring at 33weeks 5days. From my last 3 US's they would make me 35weeks 6days... I'm confused about this. Does this mean my due date has changed??? I hope not... but he is 4lbs 11ozs....\

I hope my due date does not change... although it really does not matter because he will come when he's ready reguardless when my offical due date is!
