11-10-2009 - 7 Month Update

My mood while writing this blog: ...calm...

I havent written a blog in soooo long. Not much has really changed. Dariuan started crawling right at 6 months and now he is trying to walk! He is still tiny... so his legs arent strong enough to push his walker. But when he crawls around he can pull himself up on any and everything!! So now he walks around the sofa like he's grown! He still hasnt gotten any teeth yet though! When we were visiting his father about a month ago his said hi first word.,... dad of course! It was just so cute how Tuan got to hear him say it for the first time like I did.

Speaking of him we finally got his release date... it's in march! We were expecting Dec but some things pushed the date back! I was so sad to hear that. So he will be home in 5 months instead of 2, thats a big difference! At first I was very sad about it but Im fine now... Im just glad its not 5 years! We visit often, so thats a good thing. We take pictures just about every visit. I am just ready for him to come home!!!!!!

My oldest son's father was found guilty and sentenced to a natural life sentence PLUS 25 years. He is starting the appeal process... I dont know how thats going to work out. He still hasnt called to speak to his son again. He wants me to set up an account so I'm the one who should pay for the calls. He can buy a phone card from his commisary to call who he wants.

I am sooooo ready to go back to work! I am about to start looking for something maybe this up coming week. I have just been doing hair to make a few extra bucks. I like doing hair ( I do my own) but I dont want to make a career out of it. It's very good money but it takes so long. I mostly do sew ins and stuff like that so I'm spending at least two hours on each head! Thats a long time! Im thinking about just getting back into banking for the time being. I know Im starting school in Jan... Im excited about that! I have wanted to get back into school for a while... now that Dariuan is older I can!
