21-7-2008 - after the dating scan..

My mood while writing this blog: Ok

well..what a week!!lol!! We got the girls up early to get the early train to the hospital for the dating scan. Lol..we very nearly didnt get there what with missing two buses and the crap involved with the local taxis.

So there we were..this was my fourth scan but my partner is a newbie to it all n bless him he was so quiet!!

Turns out im not 12 weeks like we thought but only 8 weeks gone..there was a tiny heartbeat and what looked like two littlw 'blobs' but thankfully (!) the sonographer explained the 2nd blob was the yolk sac and has assured us there is only one tiny little blob in there!!

Part of me is so happy im only 8 weeks preg..means that all the time we missed when we split has almost been given back to us. But as im sure you'll understand a big part of me is now slightly scared as we aren't out of the 'danger-zone' yet when we thought we were close..

At least it explains why ive started being violently sick all of a sudden!! Cant seem 2 keep much down at all at the moment. The other day all i wanted was faggots mash n peas..i tried eatin other stuff thru the day but it all came straight bak up..then i had the faggots n couldnt get enuff!! Think this bub is gonna love its meat like its dad!!

Why is it that the morning sickness only seems to strike when u make plans or the sun is shining? Its like a big conspiracy-the bub having its own way already!! The tiredness is so much more this time round too, tho i spose thats cos ive got 2 kids 2 keep happy this time. Saying that tho, im sooo sooo happy now that my fella is back, I really dont know how id have coped these last couple of weeks without him, he really is being my rock and such an angel 2 us all. I was worried he'd b over-protective but fair play to him he has found the right balance!! Just enuff fuss without being suffocating!! Oh and the sweets and treats he's been bringing me...WOW!!

Anyways, we'll b going 4 our real dating scan on 14th August and then the big one in October, so we have had a pic already and get 2 have another 2!! Considering i only had the one with my eldest i feel very privileged.

Oh here i go again..the last 2 days have been vomit free but i think im gonna pay 4 it 2day!!
