12-7-2009 - Surprise!!!! OMG

My mood while writing this blog:
ecstatic

So, I have IBS and take medicine when I have flare ups. Today I was having one. You are not supposed to take the medicine if you are preggers. I was a whole day late for AF(nothing to worry about, figured was from stress), but since I am no longer taking birthcontrol I figured I should test just incase. To my surprise BFP!!!! My DH and I bd a whole whopping two times last month, and I wasn't even supposed to be o'ing when we did. I was totally shocked, surprised, happy. I can pin point the day it happened, because like I said we only BD twice last month. Once was the day after my period ended and then on the 22nd. So happy!!!!!! It only took 3 months to get our BFP.

HUGE congrats! what medication are you on to treat your IBS.

There are meds that say don't take during pregnancy, HOWEVER if the benefits outweight the risks you may need it.

I take norco (2x stronger than vicoden) for my back injury and I am 16 weeks. :) Speak to your doctor ASAP and again, CONGRATS!
