| 18-12-2009 - Holiday Cheer | My mood while writing this blog:optimistic |
I can not believe that christmas is mere week away. I am not even done shopping yet. I don't have much left to get but there are a few things I still need to pick up. The 6-12 inches of snow we are supposed to get tomorrow might complicate that though, lol. I work through the week and would have really preferred to finish this weekend. Oh well.
For christmas my twin sister, her fiance, my mom, and oldest sister all went together and got us fuel for our apartment. That is what we wanted and they agreed. They pulled together around 300 dollars for us and the fuel was delivered yesterday, paid for in full. I could not thank them enough for being that kind and helping us out. Now I won't run our electric bill crazy with space heaters, lol.
The pregnancy so far has been going wonderfully. The only things that even make me feel pregnant, besides my huge belly, is my acne and constant back aches. I had really bad acne with my son, and got it this pregnancy to. I hate it but I figure I would rather have acne just nine months then my whole life so I know I am actually pretty lucky in that aspect. I have already gained around 20 lbs, way different then my last pregnancy so I am guessing that is where the back ache is from. I only gained 26 lbs total with my son. Ha, I am def going to surpass that this time. But I was under weight to begin with so my doc is actually pretty impressed with me for gaining the weight.
Riley is huge. He amazes me everyday. He truely is the love of my life. I still look at him in awe and am so thankful he is in our life today. I did not know the real meaning of life until I became a mother and experienced unconditional love for such a little person. He is getting a potty from santa so we will see how that goes and he is getting a big boy bed for his 2nd b-day so he can pass his crib on to his little sis.
Merry Christmas, and the Happiest of Holidays : )
