21-7-2009 - Twins

My mood while writing this blog: Excited

As most of you know I found out I'm having twins 2day

So, I went in to see the docter and they by law have to check my cervix, so she did that (so uncomfortable)

Then she had to do the 2 finger check (uncomfortable)

Then she started to do the sonogram

So, she was telling me that my due date is March 2nd, but according to my sonogram the baby is due on February 28th. She says "ok lets see what your baby looks like"

She travels through and tells me everything that she sees and then she gets to the uterus and she says "Uh oh!" I said "what" she says "I guess there is a double congrats because your having twins"

To be honest ladies I started to cry. Curtis covers his face like he was gunna pass out. He was yelling "I knew it....I knew it" and all we could do was just look at eachother.

The doc continues to talk and of course I'm paying no attention because I'm still shocked that I'm having twins.

I'm still shocked.

Our plans for moving to Texas has been moved back because now that we have 2 babies I wanna make sure we have the money to make that move.

I told her about the cramps that I had and she said "Do they feel like your about to start your period" I said "yeah" she said "Thats nomal"

We don't know if they are fraternal or identical, but we think they are fraternal because on the sonogram they look like they are in seperate sacs.

They said that I'm considered high risk because I'm having twins and because I'm a smoker.

She said that I need to cut down as fast as I can, so I'm doing the best that I can.

I think thats all the information I can remember right now.
