01-3-2012 - #2 Pregnancy update - week 20 +6

My mood while writing this blog: Very Happy!

sorry it has been a while since I have done a blog update! Well here we are officially HALF WAY!!!! I can not believe how quickly this trimester has gone.

Things are going very well. I had my 20 week check up today and it was very quick as there is nothing going wrong!!! My Blood pressure (which was a huge issue last pregnancy) is completely normal, bubs is measuring where he should be and has a nice strong heartbeat. Kinda hard to believe that this appointment last pregnancy there was a big deal going on about BP and Protein, it is nice not to have it this time round!

I had my ultrasound last week and we have another little boy!!!

DH has suggested and chosen the name this time round, and I completely agree and love it as well!!!!

After lots of thought and talking about it all, Dh and I have decided that this time round we are going to have a c-section. We have decided that this is a safest option for me and the baby. I had a cut and bad 3rd degree tear last time and the drs have very strongly recommended that we go down the c-section path. It is only through the drs recommendation that we have even considered this, and every dr I have seen so far (that is about 4!) have been of the same opinion

Lachlan is now 20 months old today (where did that go?) and is growing up very fast. He has been busy helping daddy renovate the back end of the house in preparation for baby's arrival. He loves numbers, but every number is "2" - He does know if you tell him the wrong one! eg. if you tell him the a 5 is a 7 he will ask you again, because he knows that it is not right!

He is also very busy keeping up with his older cousins and loves playing rough and tumbles with them!
