Jesse will be 6 weeks on Wednesday! the boy is an eating machine! He was right about 6 lbs last check and he is eating 6oz every 3hrs! it's crazy and I'm overly exhausted and have no clue how (when I get a job) I will be able to handle it. After being up an hour with him eating and changing him I get about 2 hours sleep and then he's up to eat again! I have had numerous people say put a tsp of rice in the bottle and see if it helps. I have put it off up until today. I figure I will give it a try at his 12 o'clock bottle. He just ate 6oz at 9 and stayed up for a little bit and is now sleeping. He stays up alot more in the afternoon then he ever did. Almost 4 hours!! but he is so fussy b/c he's hungry. I have been doing 5oz every3 hours and yesterday he cried so much I finally gave up and gave him the extra ounce and he was so happy after that. He's been on 6oz ever since. No spit up or anything! I dont get how he can be so small and eat so much! The binkie helps him but if he's hungry he wants no parts of it! Do you guys thinks its ok and what do you think about the rice cereal? my doctor said that he wont overeat, but damn! LOL, I didnt ask about the rice cause of course most doctors say no way till 3 months but I dont know what else to do. I want him to be satisfied.

I wouild do it! We did with Nicholas before 6 weeks and what an amazing difference. It will help you to sleep and the baby will be much more content!

My friend did this with her baby. She put rice in his ceral every time from a early age, he is a chunky little thing now, but it helped her a lot.
