I am dead positive that Jesse has colic. We have tried everything, gripe water, gas drops, swaddling...augh! Last night I got a total of about 2 hours sleep! it's exhausting! He can't sleep, he cries all the time, he's just unhappy. Well I learn of Alimentum last night and thought I would give it a try since it's not a soy or a milk base (jesse cant have milk). Everyone raves about this formula for colic and I have never herad of it so I thought what could it hurt. I gave him a 5oz bottle at 12:30 today and you know what! He never cried once! He stayed up till almost 2pm and actually laid on the floor with his toys and wiggled around and starred at things and no tears! It was crazy! I dont know if it was a fluke or not so I am going to give it to him again at his next feeding. If this works I wont know how to thank!!! LOL but he seemed much happier! the down side is that it's more expensive but to have a happy baby I really dont care right now! So if anyone has used it or if you have questions about it please write. I did ALOT of research last night on all sorts of stuff for colic. I pray this is what works!
