21-4-2010 - WE ARE HAVING A BABY MONDAY!

Well I haven't had to much time to write on here since being preggo, and now all my time is about to go out the window!

I was suppose to be due 2 weeks from Monday, but went to the doctor yesterday and they told me they needed to induce me next week! Baby's fundal measurement is 3 weeks ahead. I had an ultrasound and they said he weighs 8 pounds 14 ounces! WHHOOAAAAA. My family nor my husbands has big babies in their family so how he supposedly is so big I have no idea!!! I am 5'2 and the doctor already said there is a very high chance of C-Section but is going to induce me to try and have it vaginally so I guess we will see. I think there is no way he is that big! That is just crazy! All of his measurements were 40.5 or 41 week measurements when it was suppose to be 37.4. He also said I had extra amniotic fluid, but it has only happened recently so he is not concerned. After reading stuff about it online, it kinda freaked me out, but just gotta breathe! Well I have barely dilated so looks like labor is going to be a long one for me! Wish me luck!

goodluck dont worry you will be fine my last baby was 8 pounds 15 ounces an i found it easier to give birth than my first which was 5 pounds 8 ounces,my 5 th baby will be around same weight due 3rd of may all my babies are natural births never any time for epidural lol,i know you are nervous but from experience i found my breathing excercises helped alot an to stay calm and your husband being their after all the hard work you get a beautifull baby at the end,hope all goes well for u xx

Good luck! I go in on Wednesday to be induced. I've been in so much pain that they have decided to end it for me. *Long story, I have a blog about it on my profile if you are interested, if not thats ok too :)* Hope everything goes well for you!

good luck to you! im having the same issues..im 35 weeks and hes measuring 40 already..i have diabetes tho so theres my excuse haha. im having a c section tho cause by the time i reach 38 what he will be measurig 45? haha anyways good luck to you girl..cant wait to hear the birth story..and ill pray for an easy and fast labor for you!
