12-6-2009 - 35 weeks 6 days

My mood while writing this blog: Ok

So my when you get to about 36 weeks, you get to make an appt. every week. AWESOME. My Dr., is awesome, but ither need organization skills or more employees. Last week at my last appt. I was to schedule a weekly appt. The scheduling receptionist told me, Well we have to write your name in a book and we will call you sometime next week for your appt. Ummm ok. They didn't call me at all. I called on Thrusday (061109), the office then calls me and tells me my appt. will be tomorrow (061209)at 11:15. (umm I have NST and BPP's at 11:30).

OK so I get to the Dr., office at 11:00. I don't get called back into the back until 12:20 (yep way way way to long). I tell the nurse I almost had a break down and she sees my eyes watering! She says sorry and blah blah blah. Once you get to the back they are so nice you just forget about how long you waited. I get weighed in (3 lbs in 1 week) WTF! ok ok I am still under the 1lb per week theory! Blood pressure was awesome even tho i was super mad. NOW I sit waiting for the Dr., WOW another 30 min. FINALLY Dr., walks in. Looks at his computer and says you had a baby shower this weekend right? hmmmmmm yeh. I can tell, 3 lbs in 1 week. HERE we go again DR WEIGHT NAZI! He measures me 36 weeks (text book growth). Dr., feels to see if the baby is head down. the Dr says, I BET YOU STARBUCKS BABYS HEAD IS DOWN, I tell him I don't like starbucks, he says WELL I DO AND IM GOING TO WIN. lol ok ( I think Ryder's been head up for 1 month we will see and confirm in about 1 hr). I ask the Dr., YOU promise you put orders in for induction on the 1st. He said he has sent the orders. He also says you aren't going to let me forget about it huh? HELL NO, last time he told me he would induce me and what do you know I lost my lil girl. Dr tells me he will see me next week. I make an appt. (in the book) they said they would call by monday. I leave and head straight to the hospital parinatal area to get monitored.

I get my BPP and surprise surprise DR was right, Dang it, now I owe him. Every new U/S tech ask me why I am getting BPP's, and of course I have to explain each time I gave birth to a stillborn 4 days before her due date. (this time i started to cry). U/S tech let me know Ryder is weighing in at 6.5 lbs +/- a 1lb. OH MAN hes a big guy! Next I get the belly band on and listen to his heart. Everything went well. ALL the nurse (the reg ones that see me every tues and fri) were sooo sooo excited his head was down. (I was a worry wart and stressed out about a c-section). The nurse comes back and tells me ok Dr. , is releasing you and says you owe him a Starbucks! (can't believe he remembered). So from 11 to 3:30 I was in Dr appts. what an eventfull friday!!

Ither was I love seeing and hearing Ryder. He makes me so happy! Sorry for the ranting and raving ladies. ( oh yeh I can't believe that mommyvikki lady) i need to read up more on it.
