Went to my Dr., today did not wait that long. SURPRISING LY.The nurse weighs me and I lost a pound (WHAT!) Earlier in the day I was telling my hubby, I think I have dropped, He agreed (whether he noticed or not -not sure). The Nurse tells asked me if I want to get checked, cause the Dr., wont be there next week. I say YES. Dr., comes in and checks me. NO DIALATION, but he said my cervix is soft. Ryder's head is down still AWESOME. Dr., measures me and Im measuring at 35 weeks. Last week I measured at 36, so this week I should be measuring at 37, So Dr., says the baby is dropping into the canal! Ryder's heart rate was at 160bpm.
Every appointment for the last month I remind my Dr., about the induction on the first. ( I do this because he said he would with my daughter, but didn't and I lost her :(...) hence my persistent question of. (SO we are still inducing on the first right?) He always agrees and says if i say other wise you'd hurt me. I asked him what I need to do on the 1st. He tells me to go into L&D at 7pm or earlier, they will give me something to soften my cervix then the next am start me on pitocin, then 12 hrs or sooner Ryder should be here.
Now my question is, Did any of you girls that have been induced, did you get any paperwork or anything prior to going into L&D? or do you just go in there and say Im here to be induced per your Dr.?
Dr., told me to make an appt in 2 weeks because he won't be in next week. OK but my due date is a week and a half away! SO I tell the receptionist to call me and before the 1st cause Im being induced! Im stressing out now.. Its getting confusing!

my doctor called the hospital and told them i would be coming in at 8:00pm and that was it. i got to the hospital and they put me in a room. don't stress everything is going to go great!!

The only paperwork I filled out was the hospital paperwork (insurance stuff,ect). When I was induced the hospital called me and told me to come in. I didnt just go in myself but Im sure they will have all the documents from the doctors office. I would talk to your doctors nurse to be sure she sent your stuff over. If you doctor scheduled you a induction appt at the hospital they should be ready for you. Hope that helps. Good Luck sweetie
