22-9-2009 - 12 weeks

My mood while writing this blog: Ok

Ryder is 12 weeks tomorrow. He is awesome and most of the time happy! He only gets cranky when he is super tired! He fights to go to sleep. (ahhhhhhh have a feeling he is going to be a hyper lil guy in the time to come). He is getting so big.. I hate it, I want him to stay lil forever.

Lets see.. What are his accomplishments.. He smiles on demand now! I don't have to put any effort into it anymore.. He kind of giggles too.. I can never catch his smile on camera. (I try sooo sooo hard). Ryder is starting to grab at his lil friends on his bouncer and pack in play! He also talks so much. Its super cute. I always act like he is telling me about a girl that he met in his dreams ha ha. He loves to eat his hand and is starting to play with his tongue! I gave him a shower with me today. Didn't go so well. He didn't cry, but did not like the lil water speckles hitting his face. Trying to soap him up was dangerous. He was super slippery. So that won't be done again for awhile. He is starting to grow some hair, But he is definetly(spelling) a bald baby! At least his head is really round! He looks just like his daddy except with my eye color (maybe my back too lol).

As for me... Wow 3 months.. Time is flying now that I am back to work. I only have 5 more pounds to go. My pre preggo pants fit, but ekkk I have a lil more work to do. Im on the YAZ birthcontrol and for the 1 package I bled for like 2 weeks straight, until I started pack 2, now I am fine. I don't feel I have any side effects and so far so good. I keep watching that damn commercial about YAZ tho. My hubby thinks I shouldnt take it, but all BC is like that. I just figure some lawyer is out for money and YAZ must be a popular BC.

I will shower with Briley about once every week, and it is definitely something that takes some getting used to because of how slick those little bottoms are. I lucked out though because Briley loves the water beating down on her, and we have gotten her used to bathing every day.

He is growing and doing cute things... I'm sure you are loving every moment, but yes it's still hard watching them grow. Oh, I seen that commercial as well and think the same thing. When that BC first came out it said all the side affects and now someone is trying to just make money.
