06-2-2009 - 31 weeks update

My mood while writing this blog: so so

I had a doctor appointment and ultrasound yesterday. My placenta moved up and will probably move even more up. It is still low but not on the cervix. The baby is head down and she is breathing! We saw her heart pumping and her chest going up and down! Doctor said that they are already breathing at this stage of development. Amazing...

During my 27 week appointment doctor said I gained too much weight (8-9 lbs over 4 weeks), but yesterday they said I didn't gain any weight at all since week 27. I am still 131 lbs same as 4 weeks ago. I don't really care about weight that much but it's was nice to hear doctor saying "You did perfect!"

My baby girl is almost 1 year old (on Feb 17). I can't believe how fast time flew! She doesn't walk or talk yet. She is pointing at things and trying to say something all the time though. She knows who mama and dada are and she can point at light, tree and dog when we ask her :) She stopped eating mashed foods so we are just cooking some peas, corn, cut up sweet potatoes, broccoli, cut up chicken breasts for her lunch and dinner. In the morning she eats some cheerious cereal and prune/apple juice. She like the food she can pick with her hands.
