09-2-2009 - 10 weeks and still nothing

My mood while writing this blog:
confused but hopeful?

well i am 10 weeks tomorrow and i have had no morning sickness, no tender breasts, no excessive urinating and barely any tiredness.

This is all so different than with my son with whom i had sickness from the first week, tenderness from before i tested and was knacekerd 24/7.

I know it is silly but part of me can not help but worry that there is something wrong or nothing there at all.

I am still awaiting a date for my first scan and think i will worry up until then, i am not sure how i will cope if something is wrong.

My mw wouldnt even listen for a heartbeat for me and just said i needed to wait for my scan.

she thinks i am being silly and that it may be a girl - i dont want to get my hopes up, i still havent told anyone outside of my family just incase.

thanks for your reply yes its very nerve racking definately.

the mw wont see me now until 16 weeks and i have to wait another 2 and a half weeks for a scan its all moving vey slowly

Well I can only imagine how it feels to have no symptoms and read all the stories of mom's losing their babies. But I'm pretty sure with this pregnancy you are just one of the lucky ones. My first I had no symptoms, second minor symptoms, and this my third major symptoms. So just talk to your precious little one and let him/her know that you are awaiting his/her presence to be known. When is your first scan appointment? Is your mw going to look for the heart beat at your next appointment?
