21-6-2008 - Cramping on right side

My mood while writing this blog:
confused

Has ANYONE had cramping mostly on the right side when they were prgnant? Sometimes it can be a little sharp but mostly it is just an annoying cramping that is here with me mostly the whole day. I have it a little on my left side but mainly my right. HAS ANYONE HAD THIS PROBLEM?? MONDAY I WILL BE 5 WEEKS. HELLLPPP! I am such a worry wart. I keep thinking it could be an epoctic pregnancy!!??

I did have mild lower abdominal cramping early on in my p/g. My best advice would be to relax and try to stay as calm as possible! I went through the same fears with my last p/g, and now I am holding my little boy in my arms. You are in my thoughts, and I pray everything will go well for you!!

I am 31 weeks and have had round ligament pains. Almost everyone gets them. If you move to suddenly or get up to quickly or if you are moving to much you get them. Or for no reason at all except the fact a baby is growing in your belly....you'll get them, maybe only now or the whole way through....there is nothing you can do about them...

I had them alot with my first pregnancy sweetie.... your uterine ligaments are stretching to accomodate the baby.... that stretching will cause you to cramp. I've already had a few of them myself and I'll only be 4 weeks tomorrow. :)
We're alright.... try not to worry! You'd know if it was ectopic.... I think the pain involved with that is really severe. Take care & have a relaxing weekend..... only two more days until your scan!! That's wonderful!

Picture this...your uterus is going to be stretching throughout this next nine months. Starting now, it's preparing for your little one, and it can get quite sore. I had cramping with both my kids,, and it kind of hurt. Just make sure there's no bright red bleeding, or clots and you're good. The ligaments that support your uterus get quite the wear. You will be fine and it is soooo normal to worry, especially on your first. Don't worry cutie, I'm sure you're just fine! :)
